Astronaut Thumbs Up
Astronaut Thumbs Up
A plaster astronaut giving a thumbs up, hand-cast in Berlin and left blank for you.
“Houston, we got no problems!” He landed safe and secure on the moon, thumb up for everyone watching from back home. Whether he comes back in classic NASA white, or in something no space agency would ever sign off on, is up to you. Big, smooth surfaces on the suit, so an easy one to paint.
Acrylics, watercolours or markers, straight onto the surface. No primer, no firing, no experience needed.
- Hand-cast plaster, unpainted
- Size L · 500 g
- Made in Berlin

ABOUT THE FIGURE
Handmade in Berlin
Every figure is cast by hand from mineral plaster in our Berlin studio. Small bubbles, soft edges and slight differences between pieces are part of the process.
no two are identical
Comes unpainted
Your figure arrives raw and ready to paint. Acrylics, watercolours, gouache and markers all work, and no primer is needed. Paint, brushes and sealant are not included. A clear varnish at the end keeps the colours from rubbing off.
All sizes and weights are approximate. Hand-cast pieces vary by a few millimetres and a few grams.
CARE & HANDLING
Plaster is porous and will break if dropped. For indoor use only. Keep dry. Not waterproof, not heat-resistant, not food-safe and not dishwasher-safe. Never use a figure to hold or serve food or drink.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Not a toy
This is a decorative object intended for creative and decorative purposes only. It is not a toy and has not been designed, tested or certified as one. Not suitable for children under 14 years. Keep away from babies, small children and pets. Do not put in the mouth and do not swallow. Plaster is hard and brittle: if a figure breaks, broken pieces can have sharp edges dispose of them safely and do not continue using the figure.
